PS IT MATTERS is a mission-driven company that partners with retailers to launch and manage programs that give back to local non-profits with every business transaction. These initiatives impact the triple bottom line: people, planet and profit.

We estimate that one purchased reusable bag will be used at least six times per year. We also estimate that each time a reusable bag is used it equates to five single-use bags that are not used. This means that for every reusable bag that is sold, 30 single-use bags are not used. We are confident in this assessment, as it is a very conservative estimate compared to other findings.

 

We encourage our partners to explore all the initiatives we offer, but they can be implemented individually. We are also open to new partnerships in other industries to create new avenues and opportunities to give back with every transaction.

We work with local food pantries and food banks across the country to provide nourishing meals to those in need. According to Feeding America, every $1 donation allows partners to secure and distribute 10 meals to those in need. To learn more, read this article by Feeding America.

No. You are welcome to use any preferred vendor of your choice. We will work with any vendor to ensure our programs are a success.

The PS IT MATTERS team provides all services to launch and manage our initiatives on behalf of our clients and sponsors. This includes program development, store portal software, website design, non-profit communication and selection, daily reporting updates, marketing outreach and ongoing management.
